How can I find quantitative or qualitative research articles?

Answer

Quantitative research articles focus on quantities, numbers and measurements, usually data that can be counted. Qualitative research is based on traits, characteristics and attributes usually derived from a questionnaire, interview or observation.

You can search topics in databases by these methods, for example, cancer patients and children. In the example below, the term quantitative research can be added to the first search box and then keywords to the second and third. The search will yield results for quantitative studies.

The same search method can be applied to qualitative studies as well.
