How do I find an article if I only know the DOI?

Answer

Insert the DOI (digital object identifier) into the search box of your browser or a search engine. The search results will include a link to the publisher's website. If the full-text of the article isn't feely available, search for full text through the library. Visit Citation Search, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter the DOI into the search box.

If you only find the abstract, that probably means the library doesn't have access to the full-text online. You can also try searching the DOI with Google Scholar. If you don't find the article, you can request it through ILL (interlibrary loan) and we'll attempt to get it from another library.
