How can I find an article in the library's available databases if I only have the DOI number?

Answer

If you need the full-text of the article, you can search the DOI (digital object identifier) using this link. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter the DOI into the search box.

If you only find the abstract, that probably means the library doesn't have access to the full-text online. You can also try searching the DOI with Google Scholar. If you don't find the article, you can request it through ILL (interlibrary loan) and we'll attempt to get it from another library.
