Does the library charge a fine for an overdue book?
The Kaplan Library has eliminated late fees and fines for most materials, promoting a more relaxed borrowing experience. However, we do stress the importance of returning items on time. Late fees will be added for Reserve items from the Reserve shelf, portable battery packs, dry-erase marker kits, and study-room technology devices. We will also charge replacement and processing fees for never-returned or damaged loans. Please be aware that unpaid fines can result in holds for graduation and transcript requests, underscoring the significance of timely returns.
