When should I use the online library catalog (OPAC) for my research?
Answer
You use the online catalog when you are looking for print resources the library owns (including print books, print journals, DVDs and some eBooks). It also includes a number of electronic resources like streaming video. If you are looking primarily for eBooks, start your search here. The online catalog does not include scholarly articles. For those, you need to search the databases for electronic versions (PDFs) of articles.
