How do I place library material on hold for myself?

Answer

Placing a hold on a library item reserves it for you and makes it available for pickup. To do this:

1. Look up the item in the library's online catalog.

2. When you find what you want, click the Request button above the search bar.

3. Type in your name and college ID number and click Submit.

4. Verify your request and pickup location. Usually it is "circ" for the second-floor circulation (checkout) desk. Select a cancel date if not filled by, if necessary.

5. You will receive an email when the item is ready for pickup at the library.
